Drone video has captured sweeping view of Azerbaijan's capital.

Need some travel inspiration? Can't decide where to go? How about one of the world's one of the most beautiful city? If you're looking for a destination with urban pleasures but also with natural and man-made beauty, think about Baku, also known as the City of Winds.

Azerbaijan's capital offers a combination of magnificent architecture and breathtaking vistas; art and nature in perfect harmony. If you want to make a list of the top places to see before you die, start with this beautiful city.

Baku is a wonderful city on the shores of the Caspian Sea. Centuries-long history is reflected in its medieval landmarks, where the special place is given to the Old city called Icherisheher. On the other hand, it is a fast-growing megapolis with glittering skyscrapers and unusual architectural monuments of the 21st century. Oriental past and hi tech future is entwined in the way that it gives an impression of taking a journey through time.

Baku is so rich in attractions that one can easily spend three days walking around the city and might find it not enough to enjoy its all beauties. It usually takes two more days to see the landmarks in the surroundings of the capital.

The Old City is a unique town within the city of Baku with its own infrastructure and residential communities. The fortress is located in the center of Baku along the coast of the Caspian Sea. The unique historic monuments and a wide range of tourism options make Icherisheher one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city.

The pearl of the Azerbaijani culture, possesses hundreds of historical monuments, four of which are of global importance. It became the first location in Azerbaijan to be classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
