Enjoy snow in winter's Aghjabadi! [PHOTO]
In Azerbaijan, some regions experience extreme amounts of precipitation with huge snow depths. The snow season in the country is long and in some places begins as early as November and lasts into April, with the peak being in January-February.
Fittingly, Azerbaijan offers many popular destinations for snow seekers. While most of Azerbaijan’s major cities, including Baku, receive only small amounts of snow, locations such as Guba, Gusar and Gabala are offering great snow experiences.
Large amounts of snow in the winter make Aghjabadi one of the best places to enjoy an outdoor bath in the snow.
Aghjabadi is one of the ancient regions of Azerbaijan. The ancient monuments discovered on the territory of Aghjabadi attest to human habitation dating to the Eneolithic, Bronze Age periods.
