Azerbaijani judoist tops world ranking
Azerbaijani world champion Elkhan Mammadov weighing in at under 100kg has retained his number one spot on the World Ranking List of the International Judo Federation (IJF),AzerTag state news agency reported.
Other Azerbaijani judo fighters Elmar Gasimov weighing in at 100kg, Ilgar Mushkiyev and Orkhan Safarov both at 60kg, Nijat Shikhalizade at 66kg, Rustam Orujov at 73kg, Tural Safguliyev at 81kg and Shahin Gahramanov at 90kg took 9th, 12th,18th ,8th ,14th ,41st ,7th spots respectively.
Female fighter Kifayat Gasimova listed 21st.
