The participants of the worldwide cycling tour titled CSR World Velo Tour have already passed through five countries.

The worldwide bicycle tour, which is organized by CSR Azerbaijan (Corporate Social Responsibility) company, started in Azerbaijan's capital Baku on July 17.

The tour takes place not only on the territory of Azerbaijan, but also covers the world's major cities. Thus, the cyclists have already ridden through such cities as Kiev, Warsaw, Riga and Copenhagen.

On August 1, the participants are riding in Stockholm and Berlin, and then the cyclists will head to Cologne, Brussels, Paris and Milan.

The next cycle tour will take place in the Czech Republic, Spain, Greece, Turkey and Egypt.

Georgia, Azerbaijan's neighbor in the South Caucasus region, was the first country through which the cyclists passed.

The tour is scheduled to end in early September. The participants of the project travel between countries by air.

CSR World Velo Tour is an initiative started by CSR Azerbaijan in order to bring the attention of the people and world companies to the values and principles of Corporate Social Responsibility. A team of two people from CSR Azerbaijan will travel to 16 countries and cities worldwide where they would ride the bicycle for 40 km in each city.

There is no need to drive through all the countries which are in the cycle tour route, therefore, riders can join the tour from any point of the city that the participants of the project will pass through. During the initiative, the importance of global environmental and social issues is in spotlight.
