Azerbaijani wrestlers to join European Championship
Azerbaijani wrestlers will test their strength at the 2013 Junior European Championship in Freestyle, Greco-Roman and Women Wrestling to be organized by the Macedonian Wrestling Federation in Skopje, from July 2 to July 7, 2013, Azertag state news agency reported on July 1.
The competition will be held according to the FILA Rules of Wrestling and all other Regulations of FILA.
The Azerbaijani Greco-roman team will be headed by senior coach Shaban Donat and Akif Aliyev and , women wrestlers by senior coach Arif Farmanov and Hasrat Mammadyarov, while freestyle team by senior coach Arif Abdullayev and Rovshan Umudov.
The competition will be conducted in the following weight
categories:
Men: 50, 55, 60, 66, 74, 84, 96, 120 kg
Women: 44, 48, 51, 55, 59, 63, 67, 72 kg
The organizing committee will award the winners in each weight category with medals and certificates.
