On May 4, the "Baku Marathon 2025" will be organized under the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Since 2016, the Baku Marathon has been held with the slogan "Conquer the Wind," aiming to support the development of sports and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Registration for the race will be open from March 4 to April 25. Individuals aged 18 and above can register at registration points in shopping centers in Baku ("28 Mall," "Gənclik Mall," "Dəniz Mall") or on the official website of the "Baku Marathon 2025" at www.marathon.az. During registration, participants must fill out the appropriate application form, provide a copy of their identity card (students must also provide a copy of their student ID), and pay the designated registration fee.

The registration fee for individuals wishing to participate in the race is 20 AZN. Corporate participants can apply by emailing [email protected]. For corporate applications (at least 5 participants per organization), a fee of 100 AZN is required for each participant. Since participation for students is covered by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, they do not need to pay the registration fee.

The marathon's start and finish points will be located at the State Flag Square. The route will cover a total distance of 21 km, including the Baku Boulevard, central streets, and avenues of the capital, and will include the following: State Flag Square-Baku Boulevard-Baku International Sea Port-Neftçilər Avenue-Baku White City Boulevard-Khaghani Rustamov Street-Baku White City Boulevard, 8 November Avenue, Yusif Safarov Street-Üzeyir Hacıbəyov Street, Neftçilər Avenue, Baku Funicular, Bayil Circle, Bibiheybet Road-State Flag Square.
