The 12th round of the Azerbaijan Premier League 2024 will start on November 1, Azernews reports.

The two matches will be held on the first game day. Qarabag FC will face Turan Tovuz FC at the Tovuz city stadium at 18:30 (Baku time).

Currently, Qarabag FC leads the tournament table with 27 points. Turan Tovuz FC is in the 2nd place with 24 points.

In the second match of the day, Neftchi will face Araz-Nakhchivan at home. The match will be held at Neftchi Arena at 20:30 (Baku time).

Araz-Nakhchivan, which has played one game less than its opponents, is in the 3rd place with 21 points, and the Baku club is in the 8th place with 9 points. The next matches are scheduled for November 2-3.

The Azerbaijan Premier League is known as the top Azerbaijani professional league for men's association football teams, which consists of ten clubs.

Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing 36 matches each (playing each team in the league four times, twice at home and twice away).

The Premier League champion secures the right to play in the UEFA Champions League's first qualifying round.
