Azerbaijani gymnast wins silver in Hungary [PHOTO]

Azerbaijani gymnast Mina Abbasova has captured a silver medal at the International Bud gymnast apest Star 2019 tournament in Hungary.
The tournament brought together nearly 200 gymnasts from Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Latvia, Israel, Sputnik Azerbaijan reported.
Earlier, the 8-year-old gymnast secured a gold medal at the International Sosnowiec Winter Cup 2019 held in Poland.
More than 20 gymnastics clubs from Hungary, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Portugal, Bulgaria, Israel and Austria competed at the Winter Cup.
She rose to the highest step of the podium in individual competitions among gymnasts born in 2010 and was awarded a gold medal.
The gymnast represented Hungary, where her parents work, in all international competitions since she was 5 years old.
However, since August 2018, after the 17th "Gracia Cup’" traditional tournament, which was held in Budapest, Abbasova began to perform under the flag of Azerbaijan.
Her sporting career began when she was 5 years old, and at all international competitions.
In such a short period of time, the gymnast gained sufficient experience in performing at prestigious international competitions. Her results are quite impressive.
So, Mina Abbasova took the first place at Pecs Cup (Hungary, 2017). She also won the second place at Sosnovichi Cup 2017.
The gymnast ranked third at Luxembourg Cup 2017.
In 2018, Azerbaijani athlete placed second at such prestigious gymnastics events as Caorle Cup, Zagreb Cup, etc.
