People use many abilities in their daily lives to complete work, relate with others, and to achieve goals.

Everybody has their own set of strengths. All have something extra and special about them.

Paralympian, a veteran of the Nagorno-Karabakh war, Ghalib Aliyev has climbed to the top of "Heydar Peak" located in the Red Rock massive of Bashdagh range of Greater Caucasus, at an altitude of 3,751 meters.

Ghalib Aliyev lost his leg during the fight against against the Armenian occupiers.

While climbing at a height of 3,245 meters, he broke an orthopedic prosthesis just 500 meters away from the top.

On the advice of doctors and instructors, he had to stop the climb, but despite his heavy state of health, this man of courage became the first Paralympian in the history of the country that climbed the mountain top of Azerbaijan, National Paralympic Committee reported.

Paralympian was accompanied by instructors Babek Iskenderov and Ilgar Mammadov, doctor Nijat Farajullayev.
