Azerbaijani boxer wins bronze at Poland championship
Azerbaijani boxer Anna Alimardanova has claimed bronze medal in the 12th Women`s Boxing Championship held in Poland.
Azerbaijan was represented by two female boxers at the tournament that brought together 19 countries in Poland.
Anna Alimardanova, representing Azerbaijan has grabbed bronze medal defeating Chloe Tomas (Wales) and Dina Jolomona (Kazak) and guaranteed the 3rd place loosing Yu-Ling in the semifinal.
Another female representative, Yana Alekseyeva (60kg) stopped the tournament loosing Mira Potkonen (Finland) in the 1/8 final.
