The 2017 European Shooting Championship, started on July 21, is
underway in the capital of Azerbaijan with participation of 932
shooters from 43 countries.
Seven Azerbaijani athletes will today join the competitions. Nazrin
Salamzade (10m Air Rifle), Leyla Mirzazade (Air Pistol) and Zarifa
Kazimova (25m Pistol) will represent Azerbaijan in individual
competitions, while Ali Huseynli, Aydan Jamalova, Tamer Mammadov
and Shafag Amrahova will be fighting for medals in group
competitions.
The national athletes will compete in 25m, 50m, 300m shooting and
all types of stand shooting events.
Athletes are competing in 10m, 25m, 50m rifle and pistol events at the tournament to last until August 4.
