Azerbaijani wrestlers snatch four medals in Georgia [PHOTO]

Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers have claimed four medals on the first day of the International Tournament of World Champion Temo Kazarashvili in Rustavi, Georgia.
Gurban Gurbanov (42kg) and Asgar Alizade (50kg) won gold medals of the tournament, Azertac reported.
Temo Kasarashvili was soviet Greco-Roman wrestler, champion of the USSR and the world. Started to train in 1972, he was the winner of numerous international tournaments, including USSR Greco-Roman wrestling Championship in 1982 and 1984.
Wrestling remains the most popular sport in the county and is overseen by the Azerbaijani National Wrestling Federation, which was established in 1993.
The Rio Games opened a new page in wrestling for Azerbaijan. The country became one of only two nations ever to increase the number of medals achieved in five consecutive Games.
