Azerbaijani freestyle cadets have claimed a clutch of 25 medals, including eight golds on the third day of Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AWF) Cup in Baku.
The gold medals came from Tofig Aliyev (42kg), Ashraf Karimzade (46kg), Mahir Mammadzade (50kg), Asgar Mammadaliyev (54kg), Turan Bayramov (58kg), Hajimurad Hajiyev (63kg), Davud Ibrahimov (69kg) and Abdulmuslim Mammadov (76kg), Azertac reported.
Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers ranked first in the medal table followed by Iran and Georgia.
Along with Azerbaijan, the tournament brought together wrestlers from Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Latvia, Russia, Turkey, Iran, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
