Ukraine’s Varinska wins gold medal of FIG World Cup in Baku
Ukraine’s Diana Varinska won the gold medal in women’s uneven bars at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup in Baku on March 18.
Her score was 13.933.
Australia’s Rianna Mizzen and Georgia-Rose Brown won the silver and bronze medals with a score of 13.600 and 13.366, respectively.
Azerbaijani gymnasts Yulia Inshina and Ekaterina Tishkova scored 12.300 and 12.200, and took the sixth and seventh places, respectively.
The first day of the FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup finals kicked off at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on March 18.
A total of ten sets of medals will be awarded at the competitions.
The FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup finals will end Mar. 19. Gymnasts from 23 countries take part in the FIG World Cup in artistic gymnastics, which is hosted by Azerbaijan for the second time.
