National GM to join 10th Mikhail Tal Memorial
The 10th Mikhail Tal Memorial will be played in the Museum of Russian Impressionism (Moscow), one of the leading private museums in Russia, from September 25 to October 6, Azertac reported.
Auto door Group of Companies will be a co-organizer of the 10th Tal Memorial together with the Russian Chess Federation. The total prize fund is $200,000.
The tournament will have 21st category (average elo 2760): 1. Vladimir Kramnik (Russia, 2808), 2. Levon Aronian (Armenia, 2795), 3. Vishy Anand (India, 2776), 4. Shahriyar Mammadyarov (Azerbaijan, 2761), 5. Anish Giri (Netherlands, 2755), 6. Li Chao (China, 2746), 7. Peter Svidler (Russia, 2745), 8. Boris Gelfand (Israel, 2743), 9. Ian Nepomniachtchi (Russia, 2740), 10. Evgeny Tomashevsky (Russia, 2731).
The tournament will be opened on September 25, and will be the sixth event of the Chess in Museums project.
