Russian Navy warships conduct exercises in Caspian Sea

Russia Navy has launched exercises in the Caspian Sea, Trend reports. The gun practice, in particular from "Caliber-NK" missiles, is envisaged.
The exercise involves about 20 ships, boats and vessels of Russian Navy, including missile ship "Dagestan", small missile ships "Grad Sviyazhsk", "Uglich", "Velikiy Ustyug", small artillery ships "Volgodonsk" and "Makhachkala.
During the exercises, the crews perform complex missile and gun firings on marine, coastal and air targets, in particular, with the use of missile complex "Caliber-NK" and artillery units A-190 and "Duet".
Previously, the Russian warships have successfully fired terrorists in Syria from the sea. Four warships fired 26 sea-based cruise missiles at 11 targets, in the Caspian Sea - about 1,500km (930 miles) away.
