The contract to supply multirole SU-30SM fighter jets will be signed during 2016, RIA Novosti agency Feb. 17 quoted a senior official of Russia’s Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) as saying.
It was reported earlier that Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan met with the Russian President Vladimir Putin, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu and other officials in Moscow.
