Turkmenistan to open new industrial zone

The industry development in the various spheres of production is one of the priorities for Turkmenistan, according to the policy on open doors to create favorable investment climate in the country.

To provide the country with export-oriented and import-substituting products made from local raw-materials, the new industrial objects are being built within common cluster, including dozens of productions.

The new industrial zone in the Akhal province of Turkmenistan contains the production of materials and articles for construction industry, including glass, armature boards, paint and paint products, polyurethane products, hoisting slings, decorative stone, composite panels, hardware, electronic components, furniture, doors and windows, and packing containers.

The production of plastic products, industrial and household products, disposable tableware, as well as the production and repair of refrigeration units for auto refrigerators, and packing of bulk products will be organized within the new industrial zone.

The implementation of the new industrial objects by the Turkmen Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs will create over 10,000 new jobs.

Turkmenistan strengthens the mutually profit economic ties with the other countries each year.

Lots of industrial objects of domestic production and cultural purposes have been created and put into operation through attracting foreign investors from Russia, Germany, Turkey, Austria, Afghanistan, Iran, France, China, Ukraine, and many other countries.

Turkmenistan holds one of the world leading places for the presence of mineral raw materials for chemical industry. Various minerals create good opportunities for expanding existing and establishing new businesses, products, which are interested in the global market.

There have been discovered a number of sulfur, phosphates, rock salt, gypsum, and other fields here, which will develop not only the chemical industry, but also the production of construction materials.
