Turkmenistan, Panama establish diplomatic relations
Turkmenistan’s permanent representative office in New York hosted a ceremony for signing of a joint communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations with Panama, the Turkmen government reported on July 28.
The parties confirmed the interest in boosting friendly relations and developing the bilateral political, economic and cultural cooperation.
The parties also mulled the prospects for cooperation on bilateral level and the important issues of mutual interest included in the UN agenda.
In this regard it was noted that it is important to hold political consultations between the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and Panama.
