Kazakhstan’s gold, currency reserves fall
Kazakhstan's international reserves including the gold reserves of the National Bank and the National Fund's assets slightly decreased in January- April 2015, the Kazakh National Bank reported.
Gross international reserves of Kazakh National Bank decreased by 0.63 percent to $28.737 billion in the reporting period, Kazakh National Fund's assets fell by 4.91 percent to $69.949 billion.
In April gross international reserves of Kazakh National Bank decreased by 1.32 percent, Kazakh National Fund's assets rose by 0.30 percent.
In 2014 Kazakhstan's international reserves including the gold reserves of the National Bank and the National Fund's assets increased by 7.3 percent to $102.481 billion. Gross international reserves of Kazakh National Bank increased by 17 percent to $28.919 billion, Kazakh National Fund's assets rose by 3.91 percent to $73.662 billion in 2014.
