Iran, P5+1 to start regular talks in November

A regular round of talks between Iran and the P5+1 at the level
of political directors will start in Vienna on November 18, a
source close to the negotiations told TASS news agency.
"The experts-level consultations of last week run well. The results
were achieved in all directions," the source said. "The outcome of
the talks depends on the parties' political will and on who will
make the first step."
Iran and the P5+1 (the five permanent members of the UN Security
Council plus Germany) held their latest round of talks in Vienna in
mid-October to work out a final agreement aimed at ending the
long-standing dispute over Tehran's nuclear program.
Last November, the two sides clinched an interim nuclear accord,
which took effect on Jan. 20 and expired six months later.
However, the parties agreed to extend their talks until November 24
as they remained divided on a number of key issues.
