EU to allocate 30 million euros to Georgia

The European Union will render financial assistance in the amount of 30 million euros to Georgia for the implementation of the development program.
It was announced at the meeting of Georgian First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Tengiz Shergelashvili with EU representatives.
The sides discussed the regional development program and the details of its implementation, the ministry reported.
The ministry stressed that the work over Georgia's regional development program is under completion. Currently, the details of its implementation are being specified.
After the relevant work is over, the project will be submitted to Georgia's regional development committee. If the project is approved, it will be submitted for the government's approval.
