Kazakh food producers participated in the largest food products and beverages exhibition in Asia-Pacific region 'FOODEX 2014' (Tokyo, Japan), Kazakh National Export and Investment Agency Kaznex Invest said on March 17.
"Three Kazakh companies - Sesame Eco, Sun Bee and Maslodel had over 100 talks with potential foreign partners and buyers. Products from Kazakhstan caused interest in the Japanese and Asian companies," according to a message from the Kaznex Invest.
Kazakhstan was presented at the FOODEX exhibition for the fist time over almost 40-year history of the exhibition, thanks to a two-year collaboration of Kaznex Invest and Japan External Trade Organization (Jetro), according to the message.
Jetro approved three Kazakh producers for product presentations at the FOODEX 2014 at Jetro exhibition hall.

The joint plans for the next year also include presentation of goods from Kazakhstan to FOODEX in the format of a national stand basing on the example of the many foreign countries," according to the message.
