New parliament building's roof partially collapses in Georgia
The roof of the new building of the Parliament of Georgia in Kutaisi partially collapsed. According to the press service of the Parliament of Georgia, special services tried to reverse the damage all the night.
The incident occurred on Tuesday night. The fire-prevention pipe burst and water filled the building in five minutes. The water damaged the roof's balk, and a part of it collapsed. No one is injured.
In late May, the parliament building was tested by a special commission. Experts identified a number of irregularities in the construction.
The building was not accepted by the state commission.
