State commission on wheat collection set up in Turkmenistan

The Turkmen state commission on grain harvest will be established in 2013 according to the Turkmen President's decree.
According to the document, food sovereignty, gathering of wheat harvest in a short time and without loss, as well as conducting of timely payments with the grain producers will be guaranteed.
Turkmenobahyzmat (Turkmenagroservis) public association was ordered to organize the technical maintenance of combine harvesters. The ministry of road transport was ordered to ensure timely wheat transportation without losses from the fields to the receiving points, warehouses and elevators on the basis of a contract with Turkmengallaonumleri Association for Bread Products.
Turkmengallaonumleri Association is allowed to use other motor vehicles of other state agencies on a contract basis to transport wheat to the receiving points, warehouses and elevators.
It is planned to collect 1.6 million tons of wheat at the Turkmen wheat wedge with a total area of 860,000 hectares this year.
Turkmenistan harvested more than 1.2 million tons of wheat in 2012.
More than 1.3 million tons were collected in 2011 despite a drought year.
