Turkey makes every effort to boost economy
Turkey makes every endeavor for the growth of the economy, Anadolu agency quotes Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan as saying.
Caglayan said the recent reforms in the country have given a strong impetus to the development of economy, adding that Turkey intends to establish own production of cars, airplanes and helicopters by 2023.
Moreover, Caglayan said, Turkey will fully repay its debt to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in late May.
Earlier, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan also said that in May 2013, Turkey will repay its debt to the IMF.
When the country's ruling party came to power, it inherited debt in the amount of $23.5 billion, Erdogan added.
