Iran to hold large-scale military drills
The large-scale military exercises involving ground forces and combat aircraft will begin in Iran on October 29.
The three-day exercises will take place in Gilangerb area to the west of Kirmanshah province, Iranian Mehr news agency said on Thursday.
The agency calls these exercises as "unprecedented" in scale. It reported that a meeting of commanders of the units was held in Gilangerb area to coordinate Army and Air Force on Thursday.
The purpose of the exercises is to increase the combat level.
