First auction for sale of rice from strategic reserves hold in Japan

Japanese authorities intend to sell 210,000 tons of rice from the strategic reserve, which is currently estimated at 1 million tons. To begin this process, the Ministry of Agriculture held the first auction, Azernews reports.
