Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has confirmed requesting the resignations of several high-ranking officials, Azernews reports, citing Armenian media.

It was reported that Pashinyan acknowledged the move amid widespread discussions in the press and on social media.

"The officials accepted my request with understanding," the Armenian PM stated.

Reports indicate that the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, Karen Andreasyan, and the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee, Sasun Khachatryan, have already stepped down.

Additionally, Armenian media outlets have suggested that several other prominent figures, including Minister of Internal Affairs Vaghe Ghazarian, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Rustam Badasyan, and Head of the Investigative Committee Argishti Kyaramyan, have also tendered their resignations.
