The U.S. Department of Defense has rejected claims made by a former employee regarding the presence of extraterrestrial technologies in the possession of the American government, Azernews reports.
"To date, the Department of Defense has not found any reliable evidence that the observation of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) has revealed extraterrestrial activity," a Pentagon spokeswoman said.
She added that the U.S. Department of Defense "has also found no reliable data to support claims that any programs related to the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials have existed in the past or currently exist."
According to Gough, the Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) "continues to review historical data" related to the U.S. government's UFO research programs.
