Iran's National Security Council decided to respond militarily to Israel
Iran's Supreme National Security Council has decided to respond militarily to Israel for the attacks against the country on October 26, Azernews reports.
This was stated by Esmail Kosari, a member of the Iranian Parliament's National Security Committee.
“Some state officials and others may say that we will not respond to Israel, but these individuals do not make decisions within or outside the government. The decision for a military response to the Zionist regime (Israel) has already been made by the Supreme National Security Council,” he said.
He also noted that Iran's military response to Israel's strike will be significantly stronger than previous ones and will involve the forces of the "Resistance Axis."
The parliamentarian emphasized that the Islamic Republic's new operation will serve as a lesson for the other side, ensuring they do not make the mistake of striking Iran again. “The manner of the response will depend on the plan, while the timing and objectives are at the discretion of the planners,” Kosari added.
It is worth mentioning that the "Resistance Axis" includes Lebanon's Hezbollah, the Palestinian Hamas movement and its allies in the Gaza Strip, the Iraqi Islamic Resistance, and Yemen's Ansar Allah movement comprised of Houthi rebels.
