Iran, Russia discuss developments in Syria, Yemen

Senior Iranian and Russian foreign ministry officials discussed the latest developments in the war-torn countries of Yemen and Syria, according to IRNA.
Russian President's Special Envoy for Syria Alexander Lavrentiev and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin met with Senior Assistant to Iran's Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari in the Iranian capital, Tehran on Monday.
Formation of Syrian Constitutional Committee, the situation in Idlib and the topics to be discussed in the upcoming international conference on peace in Syria were discussed in the meeting.
The Iranian and Russian officials discussed also the UN mediated inter-Yemeni dialogue, the situation in the port of Hodeidah (Al Hudaydah) and the ways for establishment of peace in the war-torn region.
