Armenia should normalize relations with neighbors - Turkish speaker

Armenia should normalize relations with neighboring countries if it wants stability in the region, Turkish Parliament Speaker Binali Yildirim said, Turkish media reported Oct. 10.
He added that if Armenia wants to normalize relations with Turkey, it should abandon its claims to Ankara regarding the events of 1915.
Armenia and the Armenian lobby claim that Turkey's predecessor, the Ottoman Empire, allegedly carried out "genocide" against the Armenians living in Anatolia in 1915.
