Turkish president in New York for UN General Assembly

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday arrived in New York to attend the UN General Assembly's 73rd session, Turkish media reported.

The president and first lady Emine Erdogan were welcomed at JFK Airport by Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Turkey's UN Ambassador Feridun Sinirlioglu, Turkey's Ambassador in Washington Serdar Kilic and Turkey's Consul General in New York Ertan Yalcin.

Included in his delegation are Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak, Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank, National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin and others.
