Iran holds international mining industries summit

The 2nd Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Summit (IMIS 2) was inaugurated in Tehran on Dec. 10, the Islamic Republic’s Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) reported.
At least 64 companies from 17 countries are participating in the two-day event.
The Iran’s largest and premium international mining event is being held under the patronage of the IMIDRO with cooperation of Iranian Inc. for Contemporary International Conferences & Fairs (IICIC).
Introducing IMIDRO's exploration packages and mining projects for international mining companies and investors are among the summit targets.
It should be noted that IMIDRO is Iran's largest holding in mines and mining industries.
The first Mines and Mining Industries Summit (IMIS 2015) was held during March 31-June 1, 2015 with participation of more than 590 Iranian and International companies, active in various disciplines of mines and mining as well as other pertaining fields.
