Iran showcases home-made air force products [PHOTO]

Iran has showcased some of its air force achievements at an international exhibition in Kish Island in the Persian Gulf.
The expo was inaugurated with a number of high-ranking officials of the country, including Defense Minister Hossein Dehqan on November 16, Fars news agency reported. The event is being held in two sections of exhibition and air show.
Over 100 domestic firms from aviation and aerospace organizations, institutions, research centers, universities and higher education centers and production companies and foreign firms from Germany, Russia, Italy, England, Japan, Poland, Latvia, Singapore, Malaysia, Turkey, France and Ukraine participated in the event.
Among the army products presented at the exhibition are eight models of unmanned aviation vehicle (UAV) built by Defense Ministry companies.
The UAVs are named Karrar, Ababil-2, Ababil-3, Mohajer-2, Mohajer-4, Fetros, Hamaseh and Yasir. There is also an unmanned military helicopter, named Nazer, on a show.
The event will run until November 19.
