Putin dismisses head of administration

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin dismissed Sergey Ivanov as the chairman of presidential administration, said a Kremlin message Aug. 12.
Ivanov has been appointed special representative of the president on environmental activity, environment and transport.
He is also a member of Russia’s Security Council.
Anton Vaino, who has served as the deputy chairman of the presidential administration, will now head the administration.
