SOCAR's Neftqaztikinti Trust builds oil-gathering station

Neftqaztikinti Trust of Azerbaijan's state energy company SOCAR is constructing an enlarged oil-gathering station on the Oil Rocks offshore field.
"The construction works consist of building some enlarged separation systems (1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5 and 5A) and a central oil-gathering station," the company said.
The works are being conducted for updating the obsolete enlarged separation installations of the Oil Rocks OGPD, as well as, centralizing the collection of reservoir waters for prevention of the Caspian Sea's pollution and environment's protection through creation of recycling systems.
The enlarged separation systems 1A and 2A and the Central Oil-Gathering Station are scheduled to be constructed by late 2014.
The construction and installation works are being carried out by the Construction and Installation Department (CID) No 7 of the Neftqaztikinti Trust.
SOCAR's Neftqaztikinti Trust was founded for the maintenance and construction of deepwater and shallow water offshore facilities and onshore facilities for SOCAR's divisions and organizations.
Since 2002, Neftqaztikinti Trust has received several awards from international certificates, including TSE-ISO-EN-9002 - Quality Control Systems Certification, TSE-ISO-EN 14001 - Environmental Management Standards Certification, TS-18001 - Occupational Health and Safety Management System Standard Certification, ISO/IEC 17024 - Certification for Criteria of Competence of Personal (Welders) and TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 - Competence of Inspection and Testing Certification.
