Baku port reduces oil cargo transshipment 18 pct
Baku International Sea Port transhipped 1.15 million tons of oil in January-October, compared to 1.4 million in the same period of the last year, a source in Baku port told Trend news agency.
The decrease in oil cargo transshipment from Central Asia is associated with their redirection to the oil terminal located in the Sangachal settlement.
"Transshipment of oil cargo reduced by 18 percent during the first ten months," the source said.
The port transhipped 1.74 million tons of oil cargo In 2011 which is 13 per cent less than in 2010.
The Baku port transhipped 1.99 million tons of oil cargo in 2010 which is less by 21 per cent compared to 2009.
