The Parliament-2015 election monitoring coalition will issue three reports on the results of the elections monitoring process in Azerbaijan.

The coalition reported on October 22 that the monitoring will cover the full range of electoral process activities.

The first report of Parliament-2015 is expected to be announced next week, second report will be released at the end of the voting day, and the last report will be made public after the results of the November 1 parliamentary elections officially announced. All three reports will be presented to the public.

The coalition consists of five non-governmental organizations: the International Relations Research Center (Chairman Rufiz Gonagov), "Karabakh" Research Center (Chairman Elchin Ahmadov), Centre for Economic and Social Development (Chairman Vugar Bayramov), the Applied Research Foundation (Chairman Ibrahim Aliyev) and the Azerbaijan Students Union (Chairman Elvin Aslanov).

The coordinator of the coalition is Rufiz Gonagov.

This year, some 769 candidates will compete for seats in the Azerbaijan's supreme legislative body.

The Central Election Commission registered 426 international observers from 46 countries for the parliamentary election. The CEC also registered more than 3,000 local observers, while some 55,242 observers passed registration at district electoral commissions.

Preparations for the upcoming elections are in full swing. Campaigning kicked off on October 9 and will last until 8:00 a.m. October 31, exactly 23 days before voting as required by law.

Also, the webcams were installed in 1,000 polling stations in the regions of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic with an aim to provide transparency to the electoral process.

A three-tier protection system would be used to ensure the smooth operation of mass media outlets, in particular TV channels as they will cover the election and the voting process.

An optical link will be used to transmit video to observers on Election Day.

The voting process will be streamed online, and it will give voters an opportunity to monitor the results coming from polling stations.

Polling stations will also be provided with reliable telephone and Internet access.
