President Aliyev receives chairman of presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mladen Ivanic, who is in Baku to attend the opening ceremony of the First European Games on June 12.
The president expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina, saying there were good opportunities for expanding these ties, AzerTag state news agency reported.
President Aliyev said there was great interest in the First European Games, and wished athletes of Bosnia and Herzegovina success.
Ivanic said that a few years ago the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted an official document on Armenia`s aggression against Azerbaijan and Khojaly massacre - a resolution recognizing and expressing respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The sides stressed the importance of high level reciprocal visits in terms of the strengthening of the ties between the two countries.
The sides also exchanged views over the issues related to the development of the bilateral relations in various areas, including in energy sector.
