Another group of Azerbaijani peacekeepers seen off to Afghanistan

Another military contingent of Azerbaijani peacekeepers has been seen off to Afghanistan on a rotating basis, the Defense Ministry reported.
Thirty peacekeepers of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, who are serving under the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan, were seen off to Afghanistan on July 8.
Participants of the event wished success to the servicemen to adequately represent Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani Armed Forces' peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan began on November 20, 2002. Currently, the mission includes a group of 90 Azerbaijani servicemen, two medical officers and two sapper officers.
