Azerbaijan, Germany discuss expansion of ties

Azerbaijan and Germany have explored ways of developing bilateral relations.
Azerbaijan's Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov met German's parliament member Doris Barnett on July 1, AzerTag news agency reported.
Asadov said Azerbaijan attached great importance to expanding ties with Germany, noting the role of inter-parliamentary cooperation in improving the overall relations between the two governments.
He further said Azerbaijani and German parliamentarians had been successfully cooperating in international organizations, including the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
Asadov expressed confidence that the 23rd Annual Session of the OSCE PA in Baku would be held successfully with fruitful results.
The OSCE PA session has kicked off on June 28 and will wrap up on July 2.
Doris Barnett praised the organization of the OSCE PA Annual Session.
