Sweden to open embassy in Baku soon

Another European country - Sweden will open its embassy in Azerbaijan.
The opening ceremony will take place as part of Swedish Minister for Trade Ewa Bjorling`s visit to Baku.
During the trip, Bjorling will also meet with representatives of Azerbaijani government and NGOs.
Bjorling will be accompanied by the Swedish businessmen.
Sweden recognized Azerbaijan's independence in November 1992. The diplomatic relationships between Sweden and Azerbaijan were established in May 1992.
Sweden opened its honor consulate in Baku in February 1998. Azerbaijan opened its Embassy in Sweden in January 2008.
