Baku waits for Spanish FM's visit

Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel García-Margallo will pay his first official visit to Baku on April 23-24.
The visit is aimed at discussing ways of deepening the bilateral relations and prospects for further cooperation, AzerTag state news agency reported.
García-Margallo is expected to hold a range of official meetings in Baku. The itinerary also includes a business forum and the signing of an agreement on double taxation avoidance.
Also, Spain`s official representative accredited in Azerbaijan will be presented to the government during the visit.
The diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Spain were established on February 11, 1992. Azerbaijan opened its embassy in Spain in 2005. Since 1998, the ambassador of Spain in Turkey, at the same time has been accredited in Azerbaijan.
