By Sabina Idayatova
An "Azerbaijan Day" exhibition and presentation was held at the
"U-Hall" of South Korea's Sogang University with the support of the
Azerbaijan-Korean Student Organization "Buta" and the Azerbaijan
Embassy to the Republic of Korea on November 18.
According to "Buta" board member Rufat Mustafayev, such events have
become a tradition at the Sogang University. Foreign and local
students took this opportunity to demonstrate their cultures at the
event.
The Azerbaijani musical instruments, art samples, national cultural
and historical heritage were displayed during the exhibition.
Furthermore, information on the achievements in the fields of
economy, sports, arts and tourism were given to the event
participants, and leaflets and booklets were presented them.
Chairman of the Buta organization Orkhan Lazimov expressed his
desire to increase the number of such events and to provide them in
a wider format at the other leading universities of South
Korea.
