Azerbaijan, Turkey note progress in area of defence coop
Azerbaijan's Defence Minister, Colonel General Safar Abiyev met with Turkish Ambassador to Baku Alper Coshkun, the Defence Ministry reported on August 22.
The two sides discussed the development of relations between the two countries and noted the progress that has also been made in the area of defence cooperation.
Ambassador Coshkun introduced the newly appointed attaché of the Turkish embassy in Azerbaijan, Brigadier General Hasan Nevzat Tashdeler to the minister.
Abiyev wished success to the new attaché in his post and expressed gratitude to the previous attaché, Yucel Karauz for his fruitful mission in Azerbaijan.
