Russia-Azerbaijan forum to be held in Volgograd
The 4th international Russia-Azerbaijan forum will be held in Russian city Volgograd on June 5-6.
The event will be attended by representatives of presidential administrations of both countries, executive and legislative authorities, social organizations and business circles.
As part of the forum, the Azerbaijani and Russian sides are expected to sign a long-term agreement on cooperation between Azerbaijan and Volgograd oblast of Russia.
For preparation for the meeting, the Governor of Volgograd region Sergei Bozhenov organized an organizational committee to solve all tasks in conducting the forum.
According to Bozhenov, Volgograd has firm business relations with world business structures and good economic potential at all.
The forum is seemed to open prospects for cooperation with new business partners, strengthen cultural and international ties as well.
"The regional government can offer Azerbaijani investors a number of new industrial and infrastructure projects," Bozhenov said.
Products of Russia and Azerbaijan will be exhibited on the first day of the forum. Following this, plenary sessions and roundtables will be held on various aspects of Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation. Volgograd Region Administration is going to discuss the restoration of Cultural Center and Leisure Park with the Azerbaijani side.
