Azerbaijani First Lady inspects two redeveloped orphanage-kindergartens in Baku
Azerbaijan`s first lady, president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva inspected on Wednesday two redeveloped orphanage-kindergartens in Baku, AzerTac state news agency reported.
The First Lady first visited the orphanage-kindergarten No 60, which was built in 1961.
Mehriban Aliyeva was told that the facility had been redeveloped under the State Program for socio-economic development of Baku and suburbs. Seventy-five children at the facility will be served by eight kindergarten teachers, including one music teacher.
Four bedrooms, four group rooms, a music hall and a gym in the orphanage-kindergarten were completely repaired. All rooms were supplied with the equipment donated by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. On behalf of Mehriban Aliyeva furniture, a refrigerator, a TV set and toys were presented to the orphanage-kindergarten.
The first lady then visited orphanage-kindergarten No 77.
Mehriban Aliyeva was told that the facility was built in 1963,
and had recently undergone repair under the State Program for
socio-economic development of Baku and suburbs.
Redevelopment involved five group rooms, five bedrooms, medical
rooms, a music room and a gym. The facility is home to 95
children.
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation-donated equipment was installed in the facility.
