Qafqaz University’s technopark announces contest

A technopark operating under Qafqaz University, a private university based in Azerbaijan's capital Baku, has announced a contest titled 'New thought'.

According to Qafqaz University, students from all Azerbaijani universities can join the contest, which is organized jointly with Technopark's partner companies - Azer.Net LLC, MONtech LLC and SENTRA LLC.

The contest is aimed at promoting the development of entrepreneurship among Azerbaijani youths, as well as revealing their innovative ideas in the field of technology.

Those looking to partake in the contest are required to develop their projects and sign up on the website www.yenifikir.az till March 25, 2013.

The winners will be provided with an office and other requested conditions by Qafqaz University's Technopark. Furthermore, the three top winners will get a chance to work at the Technopark operating under the Middle East Technical University in Turkey for one month.

For detailed information students can apply to Technopark and/or use the website www.yenifikir.az.

Qafqaz University was founded in 1993. The education system and programs of Turkish and Western universities are taken as a model in preparing the curriculums. The main goal of the university is to provide students with higher education that meets international standards and play an active role in fostering excellence, cooperation and interaction with international academic milieu.
